# Privacy Policy for Nebula - Gemini Code Export
**Effective Date:** December 18, 2024
## 1. Introduction
Nebula - Gemini Code Deployer ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chrome Extension designed to help users extract and deploy code snippets generated by Google Gemini. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
## 2. Information Collection and Use
### 2.1. Personal Information
We do **not** collect, store, or share any personal identification information (PII) such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers.
### 2.2. User Content (Code Snippets)
The extension processes code snippets that you explicitly choose to download or deploy.
- **Local Processing:** Code extraction and ZIP file generation happen locally within your browser.
- **Clipboard Access:** The extension accesses your clipboard only when you trigger the "Download" or "Deploy" action to retrieve the code generated by Gemini. This data is used solely for the purpose of creating the deployment package and is not sent to our servers.
- **Third-Party Services:** If you choose to deploy code to third-party platforms (e.g., Netlify, Zeabur), the code is transmitted directly from your browser to those services according to their respective terms and policies. We do not intercept or store this code.
## 3. Permissions
The extension requests the following permissions for its core functionality:
- **`activeTab`**: To detect code blocks and inject the "Download" button on the Google Gemini page.
- **`clipboardRead`**: To reliably extract code content using Gemini's "Copy" feature.
- **`storage`**: To save your local preferences (e.g., deployment history or settings).
## 4. Updates to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
